What a perfect theme for a girl's birthday! This Build-A-Bear cake was created for a child's birthday. The sides reflect the "steps" it takes to build a bear at the Build-A-Bear store. The two layer cake is iced in buttercream and covered with fondant buttons and decorations.

This cake was created for a little boy's birthday. I used an Elmo cake pan and decorated it using stars in buttercream frosting.

Fairy Wishes

The birthday girl wanted a "fairy door" on her cake, just like the ones seen in her local downtown shopping district. The door is made out of fondant and gum paste. The fairies are made out of royal icing and fondant. She chose a chocolate cake with a milk chocolate filling. Fondant and frosting decorations complete the cake.

This cake was created for a four year old's birthday at a local lake. The cake is a chocolate cake with a cookies and cream filling. It is frosted in buttercream and is adorned with fondant and frosting decorations. The rocks along the bottom are also made of chocolate.
